best kept coffee secrets

This is my petition to bring back the drip coffee pot!

Hear me out on this one: we spend SO much money on coffee every week. Don’t get me wrong, I love a well-made latte with a cute little design on it, but that should be saved for special occasions. This is a simple way to save money and make delicious coffee at home! Keep in mind, this is going to require a bit of an investment up front to purchase equipment and products, but trust me it is so worth it!

what you’ll need:

  • drip coffee pot

  • fresh ground coffee beans

  • milk frother (trust me on this)

  • aerolatte froth tool

  • collagen powder (I prefer unflavored)

  • barista boost powder

  • raw sugar

  • half & half

recipe

add 1 T coffee grounds per 1 c of water to coffee pot. I recommend making 4 cups for this recipe (makes 2 servings)

brew coffee.

in a separate cup (pyrex or stainless steel) add 1 scoop collagen powder, 1 scoop barista boost, and 2 t raw sugar.

add brewed coffee to mixture and mix/froth with aerolatte frother.

simultaneously heat half & half in nespresso milk frother.

add steamed/heated/frothed milk to coffee cup (about 1/4 full) and then add coffee mixture to top.

sip, relax, and be energized!
